Sintet F1 has implemented a Quality Management System in compliance with the requisites detailed by the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard, in order to:
In designing and implementing our current Quality Management System, we took into consideration:
In 1999, the company recognized the need to organize and certify a Quality Management System that could give visibility to its control over operating processes. Therefore, in that year the company achieved the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 certification, and keeping up with constant updates it currently holds a 9001:2015 certification. Furthermore, we provide declarations of conformity for masterbatches designed for contact with food, to be used in toys, free of heavy metals, etc.
Sintet F1 has been certified since 1999, guaranteeing constant updates in its Quality Management System. Today, ISO 9001:2015 represents the global standard for the certification of quality management systems of organizations of any size and in every industry. The standard’s full name in Italy is UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, as the ISO standard is harmonized, published and disseminated by the Ente Nazionale Italiano di Unificazione and by the European Committee for Standardization.
Sintet F1’s masterbatches comply with the RoHS Directive. The RoHS Directive – officially 2002/95/EU, the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive – was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union. It restricts the use of certain dangerous substances in the manufacture of certain types of electronic and electrical equipment.
Sintet F1 operates in compliance with the REACH Regulation. Officially known as Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 for the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals, it is a European Union regulation dating from 18 December 2006, addressing the production and use of chemical substances. Its main goal is to improve awareness about the dangers and potential impacts of chemical substances.
Sintet F1’s masterbatches comply with Directive EN 71-3: Specification for migration of certain elements. The Directive includes a series of safety standards (EN 71) that are required for toys sold within the European Union. It is one of the EC’s many norms meant to guarantee the safety of toys made in Europe or imported from the rest of the world.
